Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Gel Mask Review

Elemis have unveiled its new Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Gel Mask (£45) from the hugely successful Tri-Enzyme range. The mask claims to ‘instantly smooth and firm the skin for a younger, more radiant complexion’’. I have used for a few weeks now and have noticed that my skin texture is much smoother and more radiant. It also targets uneven skin texture, fine lines and blemishes and balances the skin's pH levels leaving it shine-free!

I love the tingling sensation you get when you apply the mask to your face but if you have sensitive skin it may sting a bit too much for you. The mask is available online now at Time to Spa for £45 - and you also get the Home Spa Kit for free!

New Supersoft Styling range review

For catwalk hair this spring, the new Schwarzkopf Supersoft styling range is a great credit-crunch friendly option. The new range includes hairsprays, mousses a heat protection spray and shimmering shine spray.

I tried the Heat Protection Spray, which is resistant up to 200 ºC and ideal for all those straightener addicts looking for a long-lasting smooth finish and shiny hair! It is also reasonably priced at £2.59 and smells nice too! It's really important to protect your hair before straightening as the intense heat of hair straighteners can cause really bad damage to your hair. I also loved the Supersoft Shine Spray (£2.29) which I used after straightening my hair. With light-reflecting properties, it really helps hair stay shiny after blow-drying and straightening! Supersoft products are available in Morrisons, Bodycare, Savers and independent chemists.  For stockists, please call Schwarzkopf on 0800 328 9214.

Braun Silk-épil Xpressive 7781 Wet & Dry Epilator review

The past few weeks I have been religiously using the new Braun Silk-épil Xpressive Wet & Dry epilator in the quest for super-smooth legs this summer! It's the first premium epilator from Braun which can be used in water to provide the gentlest form of epilation yet and gives you smooth, soft skin for up to four weeks. I have used epilators loads in the past and hated having to epilate seperately from having a shower (what a waste of time!!) Plus it's pretty gross having to clear up the hairs afterwards!! So the best bit about this epilator is you can use it in the shower AND the warm water soothes and relaxes your body, so hairs are removed as gently and pain-free as possible!! You are also not left with bumpy-red legs like you get after waxing.

I am such a baby and HATE waxing as it hurts so much, so this epilator is the perfect solution as it doesn't hurt and I have hair-free legs for four weeks! I definately recommend trying this epilator - even if you are sceptical like me, as it' so much better than having to shave every day for smooth legs. Its fairly pricey at the moment (RRP £99.99) but if you add up the prices of waxing, then it's not too bad. What do you think - let me know if you have tried it out?

Clinique Even Better Makeup SPF 15 Review

Clinique have launched a fab new foundation - Even Better Foundation SPF15 (£19.08), which was developed to help combat hyper-pigmentation and deliver brighter skin, both immediately and over a longer period of time. The foundation helps even skin tone and contains SPF protection to help prevent future hyper-pigmentation. Skin is instantly perfected, thanks to the unique mineral blend. I love how easily the foundation goes on my skin and how light and smooth it feels, perfect for flawless summer skin. Plus the SPF protection ensures that you're never caught out by the sun.

Ciate Hand Shampoo and Hand Cream

I love these gorgeous new hand products from Ciate, that smell good like your favourite pies and are good enough to eat! The four flavours are Apple Pie, Banoffee Pie, Cherry Pie and Lemon Pie - my favourite is definately Lemon! The hand shampoo range contains milk and wheat proteins to gently hydrate the skin whilst the cleansing properties clean and prep the skin. The hand cream range provides you with an all-in-one lotion and is the perfect partner for hands and nails. The light lotion contains aloe vera and vitamin E for relieving dryness. The best bit about these gorgeous products is the yummy smell - my Lemon Pie Hand Cream smelt just like Lemon Cheesecake! The packaging is also super-cute and won't look out of place in your bathroom.

Introducing Kitten Vixen

The past few weeks I have been trying out Tickled Pink lipgloss from Kitten Vixen, a cool American vegan brand. Kitten Vixen was established to demystify the cosmetic use of colour and is available in the UK from ASOS. The lipgloss I tried is made with organic ingredients and contains flecks of pinky pearls that create the illusion of fuller, glossy lips – and smells yummy! Kitten Vixen products are also free from Parabens, Petrolatum, synthetic flavours and fragrance so are good for you as well – added bonus! The packaging is also super-cute, so won't be out of place in your make-up bag!

One to look out for at the airport.

My shopping spree in New Look!

As my boyfriend is away, I decided to go shopping after work to get some summer treats as the weather has been so nice! So here are the images above of what I got... a white Cutwork Trim Top (£7), these gladiator style plait sandals in tan (£16) and white twisted flip-flops (£12). What do you think? I also got a gorgeous pink bikini from Oasis that I will be taking away with me on my holiday..... in July lol! New Look also have 20% off this weekend as well so worth taking advantage of!

Benefit High Beam and Coralista review

Ok now for the slightly pricer spring/summer looks from Benefit. I love Benefit and was ever-so-slightly jealous of the girl that won the modelling contract on Coleen's Real Women! Their latest gorgeous creation is Coralista (£22.50), which has a lovely, floral scent. It glides on your skin effortlessly and leaves cheeks with a pretty pink glow. Plus I adore the animal print packaging!

I also have been using High Beam (£15.50)  before applying Coralista, over my foundation to create a pink shimmery look on my cheekbones. It looks really natural and is a fab base before you start applying your face! I have also been shopping tonight as well for summer clothes - bikinis, shorts and flip-fops so will definately be taking these two Benefit products away as well with me too!

How to achieve a gorgeous pink spring look..for under a tenner!

I have found two great products that help achieve glowing pink cheeks this spring that won't break the bank. First use MEMEME’s Poppy Tint (£4.88) (which follows on from Pussycat Tint) on your cheeks. Poppy Tint is a pink cheek and lip tint that is perfect for creating a subtle and natural blush on cheeks, and adds a burst of colour to lips.  It is very similar to the Benefit Posie Tint that is £22.50 so definately worth investing in if you're short of cash at the moment - Hey Dollface also agrees in her review on Poppy Tint.

Finish off with a sweep of Colour Quilt in Rosy Bloom (£4.49), which is the gorgeous new blusher from Miners cosmetics that contains four sections of blendable colour that will leave your cheeks with a gorgeous, rosy glow.  You need to apply quite a bit to get a real glow, but you can definately see the effects. The best thing is you can achieve this glowing look for under £10 - what a bargain!

New Escada Ocean Lounge perfume review

I have been using Ocean Lounge all weekend in the sunny weather, which is the new summer fragrance from Escada, that features a cool and refreshing combination of exotic summer fruits. Sweet strawberry meringue and delicate frozen lychee are blended with Kakadu plum and Anjou pear nectar. I am a big fan of Escada's summer perfumes and have used Rockin' Rio and Pacific Paradise in the past few years and am not disapointed with this year's summer fragrance! I definately recommend purchasing some before your summer holiday - it's gorgeous! You can buy it from Boots for £21 here cocktails in e sun.

Drink SIP water for glowing skin!

If you're looking for a natural way to achieve glowing skin, then you must try SIP water, which is the only 100% natural water around. It was created by Kate Shapland, beauty editor of the Daily Telegraph "to make it easier, more delicious and exciting to drink your daily quota of water". The water is available in four different flavours and contains beauty-boosting vitamins C and E. My favourite is 'Ruby Orange' which tastes really nice and contains no artifical sweeteners - bonus! Prices start from £1.29 from Ocodo

MAC Hello Kitty Collection is here!

I have read so much about MAC's latest collection Hello Kitty on loads of beauty blogs so have been desperate to get my hands on some to try out & review!! The limited-edition collection consits of colour, finishes, glitter and shine and is availble in 'mild' or 'wild' - love it!

The eye palette I tested was called Lucky Tom (£30.34) and included these four colours: Stylin- a violet blue with pearl, Lucky Tom - charcoal brown with gold pearl, Creme Royale - gold, Pardisco pink- coral with golden shimmer. All are usual MAC high-quality and look great for a wild night out! My favourite product of the collection though has to be the Beauty Powder Blush (£14.68), which is currently sold-out on the MAC website. I love the gorgeous Hello Kitty packaging and the shocking pink colour that looks amazing on your cheeks for a springtime look! I imagine this range will be a cult-classic for a long time to come!

Check out the website for more details but most products look like they have sold-out already! So you better hurry up and get down to your nearest MAC stockist ASAP before it all goes!

Nivea for men review

Nivea also do some lovely men's products that are particularly great for men with sensitive skin. My boyfriend particularly loves the Sensitive Post-Shave balm and Sensitive Face Wash, which contain chamomile, vitamin E and pro-vitamin B5. He said that the products were really gentle, as usually mens products leave his skin irritated, particularly after shaving. Plus they smell good too so I am happy! Check out the Nivea for men website www.niveaformen.com to see all the product ranges on offer. My boyfriend wants to try out the new Silver Protect deodrant so will keep you posted!

Nivea’s new luminous glow...!

Nivea have launched a trio of complexion-enhancing products that have been developed to give you a brighter more natural complexion. The Radiance Boosting Daily Scrub (£5.85) hydrates and polishes your skin to bring out your 'natural beauty', leaving your skin extremely smooth after use.

I also love the Natural Beauty Radiance Boosting Moisturiser (£8.79) as it contains Mango Milk and Cashmere Proteins that has a gorgeous shimmery texture. It really makes your face 'glow', almost like you have had a few days in the sun! I'm a big fan of Nivea and love their haircare range that they do in Germamy as well - but this is my new favourite range! It's also reasonably priced and a great way to brighten your skin up for Spring - love it!

Be kind to your skin with Skin Blossom!

I have been lucky enough to try out some gorgeous products from Skin Blossom, that are free from toxic chemicals, artificial fragrance and colour, hydrogenated oils, petrochemicals, glycols, DEA, MEA, TEA and sulphates – wow! Here’s a bit of background about Skin Blossom for you in case you haven’t heard of them. Skin Blossom was founded by Cristina Beetham who was concerned about the ingredients contained in skincare products and hated having to use products that were potentially harmful to her and the environment.

I tried the Nourishing face moisturiser (£6.95) which is 88% organic and contains Jojoba oil, Shea Butter and Vitamin E that combine to condition and protect your face. It is quite a thick moisturiser that you have to really rub in – but it smells lovely and my face has been soft all day! If you care about the environment and love organic products then this is definitely a great brand to check out. You can visit their website at www.skinblossom.co.uk

Sensation Chocolat - it's good enough to eat!

If you are unsure whether to get your Mum beauty products or chocolate this Mother’s Day, then I have found the perfect solution! Audacious and innovative, Sensation Chocolat Paris is a new skincare line, with natural Cocoa extracts, that brings beauty and well-being as it helps hydrate and preserve natural, beautiful and glowing skin. My favourite product from the range is the Fondant O Chocolat, which looks and smells just like chocolate!!  It nourishes and provides long-lasting hydratation, bringing instant radiance to your face! It is quite pricey at £39.95 but sooo worth it.

Smooth hair with Fudge and Joico!

Continuing with my theme of finding the best products for smooth hair, I have been trying out the best products from Fudge and Joico. Joico Silk Result range for thick/coarse hair is luxuriously rich conditioner and guards against humidity and eliminates frizz and dryness for touchable softness with maximum moisture. The range leaves hair really smooth and makes it much easier to straighten!

I also recommend the Fudge Smooth Shots range if you have coloured hair that needs smoothing, as it provides barriers against UV rays and the sun's damage - so perfect for all the sunny weather we have been having! It also contains guarana as well so smells gorgeous!!

Get shiny hair with Tigi!

Tigi products are my favourite products in the whole wide world as they smell so lovely and make my hair amazingly soft and shiny. Firstly, I recommend the S Factor Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner to calm down wild hair, with rich Avocado and Jojoba oils that nourish the hair beyond the surface that helps combat frizz. Then I suggest using one of three shine sprays to finish off your look! Here are my top three:

1) Tigi BedHead Headrush - is great for using before straightening hair as a protection spray and smells divine!

2) Catwalk Camera Ready - perfect for finishing of your look as it makes your hair REALLY shiny. Just don't use too much as it's a bit heavier than the others and you will look like a grease head!

3) New S Factor Shiny Happy People is the newest of the bunch and is best for thicker hair. It also helps condition and smooth your hair at the same time.

So there's no excuse now for dodgy frizzy hair! I love stocking up at the Clothes Show where you can buy Tigi products fairly cheap. Anyway, what's your favourite Tigi product?

Clinique High-Impact Curling Mascara

I have already featured Clinique's gorgeous First Blush range before, but now I am focusing on the amazing High Impact Curling mascara. I have been using the mascara for the past few weeks and am definately a convert!  The bent mascara wand helps coax lashes to a long, bold, upturned look, without a pinching or tugging at all - I love it! It's great for a flirty, spring-time look! Buy it now for £13.21 from Clinique website.

Jergens Naturals Ultra Hydrating body moisturiser with Jojoba Oil

I have been trying out Jergens Natural Ultra Hydrating body moisturiser, which is an American favourite that is launching in the UK very soon! It is made with 96% natural ingredients and is great for combating dry skin and softening it! Key ingredients include Jojoba Oil, which works to enhance the skin’s barrier function helping to hold in moisture, and avocado, which is rich in Vitamins A, D and E. I definately recommend this moisturiser if you like unperfumed products that are paraben-free as it is pefect :) I am not sure where Jergens will be sold yet so will keep you updated!

My favourite perfumes for Spring!

I haven't tried any new perfumes for ages and have just stuck with my trusty Coco Chanel. So the past few weeks I have been trying out the hottest scents for spring and decided to share my favourites with you guys!

For daytime wear I love new Lacoste Love of Pink, which is a great feminine fragrance that has aromas of red orange, passionfruit, lemon, pink magnolia, quince blossom, stephanotis, white cedar, musk and vanilla. It’s quite similar to the cult fragrance Touch of Pink but much lighter and fruiter, which I love!

My favourite evening fragrances are Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb and Anna Sui Night of Fancy, as they both have strong distinctive scents that last a long time. Flowerbomb is a sweet floral fragrance that smells so amazing people keep asking me what it is! I haven’t seen Flowerbomb on the high street very much, as it is more pricy than other perfumes but it is worth every penny! Try Duty Free for the best deals. Anna Sui Night of Fancy also is gorgeous and has fruity aromas of blueberry with accords of grapefruit leaves and wild strawberries- yummy!

I also really want to try out the new fragrance from Escada called Ocean Lounge as that looks lovely so will keep you posted!

got2b Magnetik extreme styling gel that promises to attract women!

The past few weeks my boyfriend has been trying out the new Got2b Magnetik Styling Gel, which is the only gel in the world that contains pheromones (hormones that make a man attractive to a woman!) Obviously I am already attracted to him so he doesn't need to impress me hehe but the gel also gave his hair extreme hold and natural shine. So if your looking to impress the girls and have shiny hair, then this is the gel for you! You can buy it from Boots for £3.91 - click here to buy!

I love Lulu Guinness Umbrellas

Lulu Guinness has collaborated with the UK's leading umbrella company, Fulton, to create a chic brolly collection which I love! My favourite is the Cameo design (£25) that is small enough to fit in your bag and sturdy enough to withstand heavy wind! Fulton umbrellas are really good quality and definately worth investing in fo all the April showers we have coming!

Linda Papadopoulos on QVC tomorrow!

Linda Papadopoulos will be making her first appearance on bargain beauty channel QVC tomorrow at 9am, giving advice on how stress affects your skin. Her new beauty range Psy Derma uses ground-breaking technology to address skin health from a completely new perspective.  Everything from the scents of the products to their textures has been developed so as to make skin look and feel younger, healthier and more alive.

For more of Linda's advice, tune in to Rejuvenation and You with Alison Young on Friday 6th March at 9pm. I featured the Psy Derma range a few weeks ago - click here to read my review!

Jemma Kidd PRO Make-up brushes

Jemma Kidd has launched a new range of make-up called PRO, which includes these great brushes above! It's a range of “backstage essentials” developed by artists for artists that are meant to be, as they say, skin-telligent -- ultra-light, breathable and using the latest in skin care science, like microsphere technologyThe PRO Medium shadow brush is great for blending in eye colours and is really soft to use, as sometimes brushes can scratch your eyelids.  I also love the PRO Powder brush for applying powder - which is also so soft to use, highlighting the quality of the brushes. It is definately investing in some good make brushes as they can really make a difference, I will be buying some more for sure!

Fab products for sensitive skin

As you know my boyfriend has really sensitive skin, so the past few weeks both of us have been trying out products from Aveeno and Garnier to see which helps... and we love them both!

Aveeno's products have been specially formulated with Naturally Active Ingredients - ingredients derived from nature which have been shown to help optimise skin's health and beauty. The Aveeno Cream, which contains olloidal oatmeal combined with skin protectors, really helped relieve my boyfriend's dry skin and itchiness.  He said it was a great pain reliever! The only downside of the products that I found, was the smell - I didn't like it! But obviously that shows the products are completely natural and un-perfumed, which my boyfriend loved. Check out the website www.aveeno.co.uk for more information.

The Garnier Body Sensitive range is also great for dry skin, as it has been specially designed to comfort dry & sensitive skin. It provides effective results against dryness and soothes the skin, as it is hypo-allergenic and perfume-free. It does smell much nice than the Aveeno products but isn't as natural. I love the Bodysensitive Milk Anti-dryness Restorative Moisturiser, which smells like E45 but is thicker and makes your skin softer!

New Dove HairMinimising Range

Dove have launched a great new range that has been developed to moisturise and protect your skin, whilst leaving your underarms hair free for longer! I tried the Wild Rose Minimising Spray, which smells lovely and definately is as good as my usual deodrant. My underarms do feel less irritated since I have been using the spray for two weeks, which is an added bonus - and I have had to shave less often! I will keep using the spray, as Dove recommend you use it for at less a month before you can see real results.

Dove have also developed a cool site that answers questions, introduces the range and has video diaries of real women!

Prescriptives Moonbeam lipgloss review

Ok as you know I am a massive Prescriptives fan and love all their products!  The Moonbeam lipglosses (£13) are amazing for shiny, sparkly lips. They utilises new pigment technology that actually enhances light's reflective qualities, creating a super shiny shimmering lip look without feeling sticky or tacky. I love the fact that they are also great for moisturising lips as well as soothing and healing chapped lips. So basically you don't need to ever use any other products on your lips as this gloss does it all!

Simple products for all skin types

I am a big fan of Simple products and have found some great products for all skin types. For oily skin, the Oil Balancing range is great for cleansing skin and eliminating shine. My reviewer said that her skin felt really clean after using the face wipes and not "tight" like some products left her skin. This is because the Oil Balancing products contain: Zinc PCA which gently absorbs excess oil for pure clear skin; natural antibacterial helps reduce blemishes and freshen skin and witch hazel that helps tone and tighten pores.

For really dry skin that is prone to ezcema, I recommend the Derma range which is reasonably priced and helps sooth irritated skin. My boyfriend has only been testing the range for a couple of weeks but says his skin is less itchy and red. The Intensive Relief lotion is great for using after a shower to sooth skin, as it contains Canola oil which helps prevent moisture loss. So whatever your skin type, check out www.simple.co.uk to find out what skin type you are and try out some of the products! They are reasonably priced and smell great - what more do you want!
