Clarins Nude Inspiration Collection
I was sadly unable to make the Clarins bloggers event due to work commitments; I wish I was nearer London so I could attend some events! Never mind! The lovely Ally at Clarins was so generous and sent me a massive parcel of products to try out – quote from my sister ‘it’s like someone has tipped a Clarins counter in a bag and sent it to you!’. Wow! This isn't all the products in the photo - my sister stole half of them!!!I have been trying all the products for a few weeks now and really wanted to get a feeling for them as it’s hard to write a review when you haven’t really used the products for very long.
The products sent were all from the Clarins Nude Inspiration Autumn collection, which is stunning and has so lovely neutral colours which you can play with! I have a few favourites from the collection which are:
Joli Rouge 725 Pink Earth lipstick (£14.50)
Nude Inspiration Face & Blush Duo Compact (£28.00)
Concealer Stick shade 2 Pink Beige (£15.00)
I love the Joli Rouge lipsticks, which are so soft and creamy on your lips. I'd really like to try out a pink shade which is my usual colour of lipstick but it's a nice change to have something more natural. They also taste so amazing (I can't quite work out what yet?!) and you can tell this is a high quality lipstick from the smooth, seamless coverage on your lips. My only fault (which might be this particular lipstick!) is the lid keeps falling off in my bag!
If you only buy one product from the range then I recommend the Nude Inspiration Face & Blush Duo (£28.00) which is amazing and a daily must-have for me. The compact powder evens and sets make-up while the complementary blush palette shades can be blended together or applied alone, giving skin a really natural look for autumn. Finally I am also impressed with the concealer stick and have been using 'shade 2 pink beige' the past few weeks. For a concealer stick it is really smooth, as normally they are much 'rougher' and leave massive streaks on your face, but this one from Clarins applies easy and blends in well with my skintone. I have run out of Touche Eclat actually but haven't felt the need to repurchase which is excellent!
I was also sent some lovely bronzers and after sun products which I will reviewing after my holiday in a few weeks, am so excited now. I am off to sunny Spain on the 18th and am excited about trying out the new products! Thanks Clarins for giving me the chance to try out this lovely collection, I am really impressed with the products which are all excellent quality and well worth the cash. What did you guys who attended the bloggers event think? I hope Clarins do another one so more bloggers get the chance to go!
Strictly Come Dancing Teaser Video
Hey guys just a quick post with a teaser video for the new Strictly Come Dancing series which is back on our screens soon! I love this time of year where I can get back into reality TV shows - X Factor and Strictly, love it! Am not liking the new style X Factor though, it's lost the comical factor of the auditions. What do you think?

Big shine with Bumble and Bumble
Arggh I have been feeling really ill the past few days with a horrid cold (not swine flu thank god!) and so has my hair which is in desperate need of highlighting to boost its radiance.
However I have been using this really fab product from Bumble and Bumble called Big Shine (£27.50) to make my hair super shiny! It comes in the most amazing packaging that looks so classy - I love it! The spray makes your hair glimmer with a silky, soft, smooth, sexy texture but doesn’t overload it and make it greasy like a lot of shine products do which is important if your roots are a bit visible (shiny greasy roots = not a good look!) I definitely recommend this product if you straighten your hair a lot and if it’s looking a bit dull – although its pricey it will last forever as you only need a tiny bit to add loads of shine!

Prescriptives All Skins Mineral Makeup review
Anyway onto more positive things – Prescriptives make up! I thought I would tell you about an amazing product I was sent a few weeks back and have been using religiously since!! Prescriptives All Skins Mineral Makeup SPF 10 is an all-day liquid mineral foundation that stays fresh and lasts up to 16 hours, while helping protect with non-chemical UVA/UVB sunscreen. It also contains an exclusive R.E.C. complex (Radiance Emitting Crystals--a unique combination of Amethyst, Rose Quartz and Calcite) to give skin extra luminosity and makes it really glow! I love this foundation as it is really light, but gives enough coverage (which I think tinted moisturisers don’t) and is good for your skin being a mineral product. It also blends in easy and looks really natural AND contains SPF 10 so has been perfect whilst we have been having this lovely sunny-ish weather! It is a little pricey at £24 from House of Fraser, but I think it is worth it and would recommend it if you have fairly good skin that needs brightening up!
What do you think? Has anyone else tried this? Have a nice evening lovelies…! xxx

Wow poundland - where everything is £1!
Ok I admit I never really venture into my local Poundland shop (too busy, always hot etc!) but I was asked if I wanted to review some products, so I thought why not! I was sent a lovely bikini which costs £2 in total and is great for the beach; it survived my holiday well and looked good with a tan! I also love the beach towel – £1 for a towel is a real bargain and as it’s slightly thinner than normal beach towels it fitted perfectly in my beach bag. I would definitely recommend popping down to your local Poundland store – it is cheaper than Primark and the stuff is really good value, you can’t go wrong! Obviously if you are looking for a slighter better quality item then its not for you, but for a two week holiday it is fab. Check out what's on offer here!

Neutrogena Spot Stress Control!
I thought I would write about Neutrogena’s new range which has been created for stressed skin – which I can relate too! Don’t you find if you are stressed that your skin reflects this as well? Argghgh! I love the new Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control Daily Scrub (I am a big face scrub fan lol!) which has a really creamy texture and gently exfoliates to unclog pores to penetrate deep down and help clear spots. It also smells lovely as it contains green tea and cucumber to soothe the skin without over-drying as my skin is quite dry. I am a big fan of Neutrogena products so give this the thumbs up if you suffer from spots but don’t have super oily skin!
